Crunchyroll has begun streaming a 13th bonus episode for Musasino!, the second season of the Urawa no Usagi-chan anime, as of Monday, August 19. The new episode is available with Japanese audio and offers subtitles in multiple languages, including English, German, Spanish (Latin America), French, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, and Russian, in addition to its initial Arabic subtitle option.

The newly released bonus episode depicts the main heroines enjoying a well-deserved trip to the beach, offering a moment of relaxation following the railway quiz championship. This marks an additional installment to the short-form anime series, known for its approximately five-minute-long episodes.
Background of the Urawa no Usagi-chan Franchise
Musasino! itself premiered in July 2022, serving as the follow-up to the original Urawa no Usagi-chan anime. The second season had faced a significant delay, originally being slated for a summer 2017 release but pushed back indefinitely due to “various circumstances.” Crunchyroll has a long-standing relationship with the franchise, having also streamed the first season of Urawa no Usagi-chan when it debuted in April 2015. Both seasons focus on the lighthearted daily campus lives of eight high school girls residing in Urawa-ku, Saitama prefecture.
Production Team Behind Musasino!
The production of Musasino! saw the return of key staff members. Mitsuyuki Ishibashi reprised his role as director at A-Real, with HANGAR-18 providing animation assistance. Hiroyasu Kubota and harappa were responsible for the series composition, screenplay, and planning, with Kazuhiro Kuwano assisting on the screenplay. NOB-C once again provided the original character designs, while Akihiko Oka handled the animation character designs and served as the animation director. The music for the series was composed by Kuniyuki Morohashi.
