Nijiyon Animation 2 OVA Episodes Now Streaming
In addition to the Demon Slayer premiere, Crunchyroll has expanded its Love Live! universe offerings by adding the three-episode OVA from Nijiyon Animation 2. These special episodes (episodes 13 through 15) were made available on Friday.
The Nijiyon Animation 2 OVA originally launched as part of the anime’s Blu-ray Disc box release in June 2024. Nijiyon Animation is a chibi short spin-off series based on Miyakohito’s four-panel manga, Nijiyon ~Love Live! Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Dōkōkai Yon-Koma. It offers a charming look into the daily antics and lives of the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club members, a continuation of the popular Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club franchise. The second season of the short television anime, which the OVA accompanies, contains 15 episodes in total.
Further Recent Additions to Crunchyroll’s Catalog
Crunchyroll’s commitment to delivering fresh content extends beyond these two announcements. The platform also recently began streaming the two-part compilation film of the popular Chainsaw Man anime, titled Chainsaw Man – The Compilation: Part 1 & 2, worldwide (excluding Asia). These compilation films recap key moments from the television anime and include “Chainsaw Days” (Chainsaw Biyori), a newly animated adaptation of bonus chapters from the original manga.
