The 60th chapter of Daiju Yanauchi’s high school rugby manga, One For All, revealed on Thursday that the series will end in just two more chapters. The announcement marks the impending conclusion for the sports manga, which has been serializing since late 2023.
The Story of One For All
One For All centers on Arashi, a hot-blooded first-year high school student who earns a rugby scholarship. Arashi, who refers to himself as “the man who brings the storm,” finds himself part of a high school rugby team comprised of unique players. Together, they aim to compete at the Hanazono Rugby Stadium, the esteemed venue for Japan’s National High School Rugby Tournament. The series falls under the seinen demographic, combining elements of action, comedy, and school life with a focus on sports.
Serialization Journey and Publishing
Daiju Yanauchi initially launched One For All in Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine in December 2023. Earlier this year, on February 15, the manga transitioned to Kodansha’s YanMaga Web website. The seventh compiled book volume of the series was published by Kodansha on July 4. While the manga is published in Japan, an English license has not been officially announced.
