What is DAN DA DAN About?
Based on Yukinobu Tatsu’s popular manga, DAN DA DAN follows Momo Ayase, a high schooler from a family of spirit mediums, and Ken Takakura, an occult geek. The two have differing beliefs: Momo believes in ghosts but denies aliens, while Ken believes in aliens but denies ghosts. To prove each other wrong, they embark on a journey to uncover the truth behind paranormal phenomena, soon discovering that both ghosts and aliens are very real. In the process, Momo awakens a hidden power, and Okarun gains the power of a curse. Together, they must confront the supernatural forces threatening their world.
Season 2 Release Date
Mark your calendars! DAN DA DAN Season 2 is officially set to premiere on July 3, 2025, on TV via MBS and TBS in Japan. For international fans, Crunchyroll will be streaming the series as it airs. Theatrical Release: DAN DA DAN: EVIL EYE
Before the full season drops, a compilation of the first three episodes, titled “DAN DA DAN: EVIL EYE,” will be screened in theaters across Asia, Europe, and North America. GKIDS has confirmed that they will be screening the movie in the US and Canada on June 6, with both subbed and dubbed options available.

Production Team
Science SARU returns to produce the second season, with Fūga Yamashiro and Abel Góngora (both of whom worked on the first season) directing. Hiroshi Seko (Attack on Titan The Final Season, Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen, Mob Psycho 100) is back to supervise and write the series scripts, ensuring a seamless continuation of the storyline. Kensuke Ushio (Chainsaw Man, DEVILMAN crybaby, Liz and the Blue Bird) will once again compose the music, while Naoyuki Onda (Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway, Berserk: The Golden Age Arc) designs the characters. Yoshimichi Kameda (Mob Psycho 100) is also returning to design the aliens and supernatural entities.
