Series Overview and Japanese Production
“Dealing with Mikadono Sisters Is a Breeze” (Japanese title: Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai, Choroi) is an anime adaptation of Aya Hirakawa’s romantic comedy manga, which began serialization in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shōnen Sunday in December 2021.
The anime series is produced by P.A. Works. Tadahito Matsubayashi is directing the anime, with Takayo Ikami handling the series composition. Yūsuke Inoue is responsible for the character designs, and Masaru Yokoyama is composing the music. Jin Aketagawa is the sound director.
The story centers on Yu Ayase, a seemingly mediocre individual and the son of a legendary deceased actress, who moves in with the highly talented Mikadono sisters. Despite their exceptional abilities in various fields, the sisters reportedly have a “weak side” to them. The anime’s Japanese premiere occurred on Tokyo MX and other networks on July 10, 2025. Crunchyroll is streaming the series globally.
