What is “Dekin no Mogura” About?

Dekin no Mogura is a supernatural comedy that follows Mogura Momoyuki, a mysterious man who claims to have been “banned from the afterlife.” Unable to die, he roams the world collecting the “light” of spirits in his lantern, hoping to be allowed to pass on. Those who cross his path find themselves able to see strange phenomena. Encounters with humans and spirits reveal the absurdities and truths of existence.

The story centers on college students Magi and Yaeko, who witness a Kōjien dictionary falling on a man’s head. Despite his injury, the man refuses help, leading Magi and Yaeko to experience strange events.
