Expanding the Voice Cast
While Miyu Irino and Megumi Han were previously announced as the lead voice actors for Tomoro Tenma and Gekkomon respectively, the new revelations have completed the main cast.
The newly announced cast members for the bounty hunting team “Golden Dawn” and their Digimon partners include:
- Tomoyo Kurosawa as Reina Sakuya, a 16-year-old “loose cannon” of the Golden Dawn, whose role is to attract enemies on the front lines. She often collapses from overusing her e-Pulse.
- Mutsumi Tamura as Pristimon, Reina’s raccoon-like Digimon partner, who has a “big sister personality” and grew up with Reina.
- Arisa Sekine as Makoto Kuonji, a 10-year-old responsible for Golden Dawn’s analysis.
- Misaki Kuno as Chiropmon, Makoto’s partner Digimon, described as having an otaku personality.
- Yōhei Azakami as Kyo Sawashiro, the leader of the Golden Dawn, a “genius cleaner” with top-class abilities who cherishes his friends.
- Daiki Hamano as Murasamemon, Kyo’s partner Digimon, possessing overwhelming strength in battle but typically found sleeping in its pre-evolved form, Cougarmon.
Miyu Irino voices Tomoro Tenma, a 15-year-old who is often critical and influenced by his older brother, frequently tapping rhythms with drumsticks. He joins Golden Dawn for a specific purpose. Story Synopsis: A World of e-Pulse and Digimon
The official website provides a glimpse into the anime’s narrative, set in a near-future where human thoughts and emotions generate “e-Pulse,” an energy source for the AI support device “Sapotama.” From the shadows of this technological advancement, terrifying monsters emerge: Digimon, living beings that evolve by consuming e-Pulse.
The story follows 15-year-old Tomoro Tenma, a cynical teenager whose life takes an extraordinary turn after encountering Gekkomon, a Digimon that suddenly appears from his Sapotama. As Tomoro and Gekkomon join Kyo Sawashiro and the other members of the “Golden Dawn” bounty hunting team, Tomoro renews his resolve. The series will explore the new future forged by humans and Digimon in this evolving world. The main visual for DIGIMON BEATBREAK features the tagline, “GLITCH THE FUTURE.”
