A new teaser promotional video has been released for the third part of Dr. Stone: Science Future, the fourth and final season of the popular TV anime, offering fans a glimpse into the upcoming conclusion of Senku’s grand scientific adventure. The final cour is slated to air in 2026, wrapping up the three-part broadcast rollout that commenced in 2025.
The latest visual and video hint at an intensified journey as Senku and his allies prepare to confront the ultimate mystery behind humanity’s petrification. This announcement follows the conclusion of the season’s second cour in September.
Delving into the ‘Science Future’ Arc
Dr. Stone: Science Future marks the final chapter of the anime adaptation of Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi’s acclaimed manga series. The season is divided into three cours, with the first part having premiered in January 2025. Crunchyroll has confirmed streaming for the series, making it accessible to a global audience.
The overarching narrative of Dr. Stone: Science Future continues Senku Ishigami’s unwavering mission to rebuild civilization using the power of science after a mysterious phenomenon turned all of humanity to stone millennia ago. This final season will specifically focus on the long-awaited South America arc, where Senku and his team venture to the continent, the origin point of the petrification beam. Their goal is to uncover the truth behind the “Why Man” and restore all of humanity, setting their sights on space as the decisive stage of their battle.
Senku’s Ambitious Moon Landing Project
A significant focus of this concluding arc is Senku’s ambitious Moon Landing Project. After discovering that the mastermind behind humanity’s petrification, “Why Man,” resides on the moon, Senku initiates the monumental task of building a spacecraft from scratch. This undertaking necessitates gathering materials from around the world, leading the Kingdom of Science across vast oceans.
Allies and Adversaries
The journey for the Kingdom of Science is fraught with challenges, including encounters with a highly advanced science kingdom in America led by Dr. Xeno. Following a clash of scientific ingenuity, Chrome and his group succeed in capturing Dr. Xeno. The team also faces relentless pursuit from Stanley’s forces, highlighting the constant danger in their quest. The new trailer features main villain Stanley Snyder and showcases the main cast as they battle against him while continuing their quest to build a rocket.
The teaser for the third cour specifically highlights Senku and Dr. Xeno joining forces, united by the common goal of confronting Why Man and achieving the revival of all humanity.
