What is Fate/Strange Fake?
Fate/strange Fake is a light novel series written by Ryohgo Narita and illustrated by Shizuki Morii, part of Type-Moon’s expansive Fate multimedia franchise. The story presents a “twisted recreation” of a Holy Grail War, set years after the Fifth Holy Grail War in Japan. It unfolds in the American city of Snowfield, where new Masters and Servants gather for a conflict marred by irregularities, impossible summonings, and a missing Servant class, ultimately plunging the war into “the depth of madness.”
The narrative promises a “masquerade of humans and heroes, made to dance upon the stage of a false Holy Grail.” The series has garnered significant attention for its intricate plot and unique take on the established Fate lore.
