What’s See You Tomorrow at the Food Court About?
See You Tomorrow at the Food Court is a Japanese manga series that began as a webcomic on Shinichiro Nariie’s Twitter account in October 2019. Kadokawa Shoten picked it up and began serializing it on their Comic Newtype website in March 2020.
Yen Press, which publishes the manga in English, describes the story as follows:
To their classmates, Wada is a quiet rich girl who keeps to herself and has an air of mystery. Yamamoto is an intimidating fashionista with dyed blond hair and a shortened skirt. Though this unlikely duo seem to have nothing in common, it’s only during their daily meetings at the food court that they can be themselves! Wada is secretly a mobile game addict in a passionate love-hate relationship with a 2D character, and Yamamoto has a penchant for urban legends and a soft spot for her favorite YouTuber. Their not-so-secret secret is that they meet at the food court every day after school to rant, rave, and explore what makes each other tick.
