What is Gnosia? Exploring the Sci-Fi Social Deduction RPG
The Gnosia anime adapts the popular social deduction visual novel RPG developed by Petit Depotto. The game, which first launched for PlayStation Vita in June 2019 and later ported to Nintendo Switch, Windows, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms, centers on a drifting spaceship where the crew faces a mysterious and deadly threat known as the “Gnosia.” The core premise involves identifying the Gnosia—imposters who pretend to be human and eliminate crew members one by one—through discussions and votes to put suspects into “cold sleep.”
The anime aims to bring this unique blend of sci-fi, mystery, and social deduction to the screen, promising a tense and engaging viewing experience.
