Premise
Thirteen years prior to the start of the series, the Monster Army invaded Earth, but the Divine Dragon Rangers defeated them within a year. However, the monsters are now forced to perform humiliating defeats each week in front of the public. One monster, Footsoldier D, grows tired of this charade and decides to infiltrate the Ranger Force to destroy them from within.
Story
The story follows Footsoldier D as he disguises himself as a human and joins the Dragon Keepers to bring them down from the inside. D enters the Ranger Force entrance exam, where he meets Yumeko Suzukiri and Hibiki Sakurama. He learns that Suzukiri has a mission to deliver a letter to the Red Garrison HQ. D’s team, consisting of himself, Yukino, Shippō, Usukubo, and Kurusu, is being promoted to full Rangers. A secret organization is working within the Rangers to defeat them. The Blue Keeper’s Divine Artifact has gone missing. Tokita discovers that Suzukiri stole the cartridge to the Red Keeper’s missing Divine Artifact but cannot reveal it without implicating himself. D becomes determined to complete his mission of killing the Dragon Keepers.
