The official website for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Takuya Shinjō’s manga, Hands off: Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun (Don’t Touch Kotesashi), unveiled its main promotional video on Friday, revealing an October 5, 2025 debut. The new trailer provides a deeper look into the series’ premise, characters, and animation style, building anticipation for its fall premiere.
What the Main Promo Video Reveals
The newly released main promotional video offers fans a comprehensive preview of the anime, showcasing key scenes and introducing the voice cast. It highlights the unique blend of romantic comedy and sports themes central to the series. The video also features snippets of the opening and ending theme songs, performed by UtaGe! and Palette Parade, respectively. Additionally, a new key visual was released alongside the trailer.
Diving into the Premise: The Massage Specialist and Female Athletes
Hands off: Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun centers on Kōyō Kotesashi, a high school freshman with exceptional massage skills and an ambition to become a sports doctor. To secure a special medical scholarship and cover his family’s financial struggles, Kōyō enrolls in Seiwa University High School, a prestigious sports academy, where he takes on a live-in job at the school’s dormitory.
However, the dormitory is not what he expects. It’s home to a diverse group of talented, yet eccentric, female athletes. Kōyō’s role quickly expands beyond just dorm management to include tending to the physical and mental well-being of these “JK athletes” through his unique massage therapy. This setup promises a comedic and often “ecchi” (suggestive) dormitory life, as he navigates close-quarters living and intense training with the girls.
