The new key visual showcases the protagonist, Meisuke “Nube” Nueno, in a face-off with his arch-enemy, Tamamo. The trailer offers glimpses of yokai attacking students, highlighting the supernatural conflicts Nube will tackle. The anime adapts the Jigoku Sensei Nube manga series, penned by Sho Makura and illustrated by Takeshi Okano, which originally ran in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from 1993 to 1999. A new manga series, Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube PLUS, launched on MANGA Plus on June 11. It explores untold stories from the original series, focusing on Class 5-3 of Domori Elementary School and characters like Hiroshi Tateno and Kyoko Inaba.
