A second season for the popular TV anime series, I Left My A-Rank Party to Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths!, has been officially announced. The news comes shortly after the conclusion of its extensive 24-episode first season, which wrapped up on June 29, 2025. Fans of the fantasy-adventure series can anticipate more escapades with Yuke and his new party, Clover.
Season One’s Successful Run
The inaugural season of I Left My A-Rank Party to Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths! (also known as A-Rank Party o Ridatsu Shita Ore wa, Moto Oshiego-tachi to Meikyū Shinbu o Mezasu.) premiered on January 12, 2025, and aired for two consecutive cours. Produced by BN Pictures, the anime brought to life the light novel series penned by Kosuke Unagi and illustrated by Super Zombie. Katsumi Ono directed the first season, with Kazuyuki Fudeyasu overseeing and writing the series scripts.
The narrative follows Yuke, a red mage who, after five years of enduring insults from his A-rank party, Thunder Pike, decides to leave. He subsequently encounters his former students—Marina, Silk, and Rain—and joins their nascent party, Clover. Encouraged by their admiration, Yuke begins to lead them through various quests, showcasing his extraordinary magical prowess and skills while nurturing their own developing abilities. Their adventures, broadcast through an artifact called Camelot, elevate Clover’s renown across society. The party harbors an ambition to conquer Achromatic Darkness, the ultimate dungeon, but their journey through other dungeons gradually entwines them with a larger chaos that threatens the world. Crunchyroll has been streaming the anime, including an English dub.
