A second season of the “I Left My A-Rank Party to Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths!” TV anime has been officially announced. The news came shortly after the broadcast of the first season’s finale on June 29, 2025.

The anime, which adapts Kōsuke Unagi’s light novel series, aired for two consecutive cours, comprising 24 episodes, after its debut in Japan on January 12, 2025. To commemorate the announcement of a second season, a special illustration by character designer Masakazu Yamazaki was released.

The first season was directed by Katsumi Ono at BN Pictures, with Kazuyuki Fudeyasu handling the series scripts and Go Sakabe composing the music. The voice cast includes Hiromu Mineta as Yuke, Hana Inami as Marina, Natsumi Kawaida as Silk, and Nene Hieda as Rain.

Crunchyroll has been streaming the anime and also offers an English dub. The series follows Yuke, a red mage who leaves his A-rank party due to being unappreciated. He then forms a new party with his former students—Marina, Silk, and Rain—and helps them grow their abilities while embarking on quests that eventually entangle them in world-threatening chaos. The light novel series, written by Kosuke Unagi and illustrated by Super Zombie, concluded on February 28, 2025, with a total of five volumes published in Japan. A manga adaptation by Yuri is also being released digitally in English by Kodansha USA. Further details regarding the broadcast date for the second season are yet to be revealed.
