The popular IDOLiSH7 franchise is celebrating its 10th anniversary with exciting news for fans! A theatrical compilation film of the first season of the anime, titled IDOLiSH7 First Beat! Theatrical Compilation, is set to be released in two parts. This announcement is part of a larger wave of IDOLiSH7 activity, including a fourth season of the anime and an adaptation of the Kikko no Quarter storyline.

Release Dates

Mark your calendars, IDOLiSH7 fans! The two-part compilation film will be released as follows:

  • Part 1: October 3, 2025
  • Part 2: December 5, 2025

A Decade of IDOLiSH7

The IDOLiSH7 multimedia project began in 2015 with the release of a rhythm game for Android and iOS. The game, developed by Bandai Namco Online with music by Lantis, quickly gained popularity and has since expanded into various media, including:

  • Manga adaptations
  • Novelizations
  • Anime television series
  • Music CDs

The first season of the anime premiered in January 2018, followed by a second season in April 2020 and a third season that ran in two parts, from July 2021 to February 2023.

IDOLiSH7 First Beat! Theatrical Compilation

This compilation film will bring together the events of the first season of the IDOLiSH7 anime. The first season introduces the aspiring idols of IDOLiSH7 as they gather at Takanashi Productions, entrusted with the company’s future. The seven members, each with unique personalities, navigate the challenges and triumphs of the idol world together.

To commemorate the upcoming release, a key visual for Part 1 has been released, depicting the seven members of IDOLiSH7 on stage at the Outdoor Music Hall. An official trailer has also been released on YouTube, showcasing the group’s journey as they strive for the top in the glamorous but challenging idol industry.

More IDOLiSH7 to Come

In addition to the compilation film, fans can look forward to:

  • A fourth season of the IDOLiSH7 anime: Further details about the fourth season are yet to be revealed.
  • Anime adaptation of the Kikko no Quarter storyline: This adaptation will focus on the rival group ŹOOĻ. The format of this adaptation is currently unknown.

IDOLiSH7 LIVE 4bit BEYOND THE PERiOD

Prior to the announcement of the compilation film and fourth season, the IDOLiSH7 franchise released a concert film titled IDOLiSH7 LIVE 4bit BEYOND THE PERiOD. This film premiered in Japan in May 2023 and featured performances by IDOLiSH7, TRIGGER, Re:vale, and ŹOOĻ.

The film was released in two versions, “DAY 1” and “DAY 2,” each featuring different setlists. IDOLiSH7 LIVE 4bit BEYOND THE PERiOD was a commercial success, grossing over 2.8 billion yen during its theatrical run and ranking among the highest-grossing anime films in Japan for 2023.

Where to Watch

For fans looking to catch up on the IDOLiSH7 anime, all three seasons and the IDOLiSH7 Live 4bit: Beyond The Period concert film are available for streaming on Crunchyroll.

A New Chapter for IDOLiSH7
