Kadokawa has announced the release of two new manga titles, “Stay Away from My Sons!” and “The Villainess Is Adored by the Prince of the Neighbor Kingdom,” expanding its diverse catalog for manga enthusiasts. These releases cater to different genres, offering unique storylines to a broad audience.
“Stay Away from My Sons!”: A Creator’s Isekai Battle for Their Boys’ Love Story
Kadokawa is introducing “Stay Away from My Sons! The Almighty Boys’ Love Author Fends Off the Villainess Stan,” a unique Boys’ Love (BL) fantasy manga. This series offers a meta-narrative, blending reincarnation, fantasy, and the struggles of a creator protecting their beloved characters.
Plot Overview
The story centers on an author whose Boys’ Love work, “The Odd-Eyed Butler,” has achieved the dream of an anime adaptation. However, a heated online argument with a self-proclaimed “Fan of the Count’s Daughter,” who persistently criticizes the submissive butler (uke) and aggressively ships the dominant viscount (seme) with the story’s villainess, takes an unexpected turn. In the midst of this furious debate, the author tragically dies from an electric shock.
Upon waking, the author finds themselves reincarnated as the uke butler from their own creation. To complicate matters further, their online rival has also been reincarnated as the count’s daughter and is actively pursuing the viscount. The author must now fight to protect their characters and the integrity of their story from this unexpected interference.
Release Information
“Stay Away from My Sons! The Almighty Boys’ Love Author Fends Off the Villainess Stan” Chapter 2 became available on November 14, 2025, through platforms like BookWalker, indicating an ongoing digital chapter-by-chapter release strategy.
“The Villainess Is Adored by the Prince of the Neighbor Kingdom”: An Otome Game Reincarnation Romance
“The Villainess Is Adored by the Prince of the Neighbor Kingdom” (Japanese: Akuyaku Reijō wa Ringoku no Ōtaishi ni Dekiai Sareru) joins Kadokawa’s lineup, bringing a popular isekai romance fantasy to manga readers. This series originated as a light novel written by Puni-chan and illustrated by Akeno Naruse, before being adapted into a manga by Hoshina.
Narrative Premise
The manga follows a Japanese woman who, after an accident, finds herself reincarnated as Tiararose Lapis Clementille, the antagonist in her favorite otome game, “Lapis Lazuli Ring.” As the villainess, Tiararose is fated for exile after her engagement is annulled. However, the plot takes an unexpected turn when Aquasteed Marineforest, the crown prince of a neighboring country, proposes to her during her judgment, a scenario not possible in the original game. This sudden proposal saves her from her doomed fate and sets the stage for a new romantic journey.
Serialization and Adaptations
The manga adaptation of “The Villainess Is Adored by the Prince of the Neighbor Kingdom” began serialization on Enterbrain’s B’s Log Comic service in December 2017. As of September 2025, the series has been compiled into 16 tankōbon volumes, with the 15th volume having been released on January 31, 2025.
Beyond the manga, the series has seen significant success across multiple media. The light novel series has 14 volumes as of November 2023. A visual novel adaptation was released for Nintendo Switch and Steam in March 2024. Furthermore, an anime television series adaptation, produced by Studio Deen, is slated to premiere in Japan in January 2026. The anime will feature returning cast members from the visual novel, including Mai Fuchigami as Tiararose Lapis Clementille and Yuichiro Umehara as Aquasteed Marineforest.
Both titles showcase Kadokawa’s continued commitment to publishing diverse and engaging stories across various genres, from niche Boys’ Love fantasies to popular Isekai romance narratives.
