Kana Ozawa, the creator of Blue Thermal, is concluding her manga series, Kō-2 no Koi no Wasure-kata (How to Let Go of Your Junior Year Love), on May 23. The announcement came in the June issue of Kodansha’s Kiss magazine.
Storyline
Kō-2 no Koi no Wasure-kata is a love story centered around Oto Miyakura, a woman working as an editor at a publishing company. She leads a content life with her husband and daughter until a chance encounter with someone from her past disrupts her peaceful existence. Ozawa launched the manga in Kiss magazine in April 2023. Kodansha published the first compiled book volume in September 2023, and the third volume on November 13.

Blue Thermal Manga Series
- Blue Thermal -Aonagi Daigaku Taiiku-kai Kōkū-bu- ran in Shinchosha’s Monthly Comic @Bunch magazine from April 2014 to November 2017. Shinchosha published five compiled book volumes for the manga. The fifth volume suggests that only the “first part” of the story has concluded.
- Blue Thermal: First Flight, a prequel manga, was launched on the LINE Manga app in November 2021 and concluded in January 2022. Shinchosha published the compiled book volume in February 2022.
Blue Thermal Anime Film
An anime film adaptation of Blue Thermal by Telecom Animation Film premiered in Japan in March 2022. Eleven Arts licensed the movie.
