“Ikenai Futari” Explores Unexpected Cohabitation
Ikenai Futari will follow the story of a man and a woman who, after making a childhood vow to marry each other, find themselves unexpectedly living together. This premise marks a shift for Inaoka from her previous suspense and shonen works.
Inaoka’s Journey from Shonen Jump to Big Comic Original
Kazusa Inaoka gained recognition for her manga i tell c, a unique crime-suspense series that was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine from February to June 2021. The series, which explored a detective with an unusual predilection for criminals, was eventually collected into three tankōbon volumes. Prior to i tell c, Inaoka also created Kimi wo Shinryakuseyo! (Invade You), which ran in Shonen Jump GIGA and Weekly Shonen Jump in 2018, and Camellia no Curtain in 2022. Her move to Big Comic Original signifies a new chapter in her career, venturing into a magazine known for its seinen demographic.
