The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Yama Wayama’s popular manga, “Let’s Go Karaoke!,” has announced four additional cast members, further expanding the roster of yakuza characters set to appear in the series. These new additions are scheduled to make their debut in the anime’s fourth episode.
New Additions to the “Let’s Go Karaoke!” Cast
The newly revealed cast members, all portraying yakuza characters, include:
- Taichi Takeda as Sake (alcohol) Allergy
- Shōhei Kajikawa as Former No. 4
- Takumu Miyazono as Nakibokuro
- Soungdok as Gura-san (Mr. Glasses)
These actors join an already extensive list of previously announced voice talent for the series.
Expanding the Yakuza Ensemble
Prior to this announcement, twelve other new cast members were revealed in July 2025, also set to voice yakuza characters. These include Jin Urayama as Boss, Yōji Ueda as Alien, Hidenobu Kiuchi as Big Brother Yamaha, Shigeo Kiyama as Pinky Finger, Yukihiro Nozuyama as Punch Perm, Rintarō Nishi as Shaved Head, Masaaki Yano as Kitty-chan Phobia, Ikuji Nose as Anikibun (Leader), Kenichi Mine as Long-Faced, Yūma Uchida as Jersey, Yūki Ishikari as T-shirt, and Masuo Amada as Former Cram School Teacher.

The series features a main cast led by Shun Horie as Satomi Oka, Daisuke Ono as Kyouji Narita, and Shinnosuke Tokudome as Wada.
The “Let’s Go Karaoke!” anime premiered on ABEMA and TV Tokyo on July 24, 2025. The anime is directed by Asami Nakatani at Dōga Kōbō, with Yukiko Tsukahara as assistant director. Yoshimi Narita is overseeing the series scripts, Mai Matsuura is handling character designs, and Takurō Iga is composing the music. Ayumu Imazu performs the theme song “HOWL.”
Story Synopsis
“Let’s Go Karaoke!” tells the story of Satomi Oka, a middle school student whose biggest concern is his final choir competition, until he’s unexpectedly pulled into karaoke sessions by Kyouji Narita, a yakuza member. Narita seeks Oka’s help because his boss is holding a karaoke contest, with a terrifying tattoo awaiting the loser, and Narita is determined not to lose. The series explores the unlikely bond formed between the two as they navigate the unusual world of yakuza karaoke.
The anime is based on Yama Wayama’s popular manga, which has also inspired a live-action film and a manga sequel.
