The official website for the upcoming Magical Girl Raising Project restart anime has released its first promotional video and a new teaser visual, offering fans a glimpse into the highly anticipated series. Additionally, it has been confirmed that the musical duo Daisy×Daisy will perform the ending theme song, titled “ReMind”.
The anime is slated to premiere in 2026, continuing the dark fantasy narrative based on Asari Endō’s light novel series.
First Promotional Video and Teaser Visual Released
The newly unveiled promotional video showcases the animated return to the world of Magical Girl Raising Project. This marks the first animated look at the “restart” arc, which follows a new deadly game involving magical girls. Accompanying the video is a teaser visual drawn by original character designer Maruino.
Theme Song Artists Announced
Fans can look forward to both an exciting opening and a poignant ending theme. Minori Chihara has been tapped to perform the opening theme song, “No tears here”. This song was first performed live at the Animelo Summer Live 2025 “ThanXX!” event. Meanwhile, Daisy×Daisy will deliver the ending theme, “ReMind”.
Production Team and Studio
The Magical Girl Raising Project restart anime will be animated by SynergySP. Several key staff members are returning from the previous Magical Girl Raising Project anime adaptation. Hiroyuki Hashimoto is reprising his role as director, with Takao Yoshioka also returning for series composition and scriptwriting. Masako Ito, who previously handled SD character designs, is now serving as the lead character designer, and Satoki Iida is back as the sound director.
Cast Members Revealed
A roster of talented voice actors has been announced for the new series, including both returning and new cast members. Yoshino Nanjō will voice Pfle, Honoka Inoue is cast as Pechka, and Reina Kondo will play Shadow Gale. Other notable cast additions include Aoi Yūki as Lapis Lazuline and Maaya Uchida as Magical Daisy. Nao Tōyama will reprise her role as Snow White, a protagonist from the original series.
The anime adapts the Magical Girl Raising Project Restart light novel series, which is the second and third volumes of Asari Endō’s original work. The light novel series began in 2012 and has garnered 18 volumes as of November 2023.
