A Mangaka’s Weirdly Wonderful Workplace is based on Kuzushiro’s slice-of-life comedy manga, which began as a one-shot in Kodansha’s Kiss josei manga magazine in February 2019, before starting serialization on Kodansha’s Comic Days website in May 2019. The manga currently has 11 volumes available. The story follows Futami, a novice shojo manga artist, as she navigates the challenging yet often humorous daily life of a manga artist, dealing with deadlines, stomachaches, and wild delusions with the help of her editor and assistant.
