Voice actress Miyu Tomita has been officially announced as part of the cast for the upcoming anime adaptation of “Kamiina Botan, Yoheru Sugata wa Yuri no Hana” (Botan Kamiina Fully Blossoms When Drunk), where she will portray the character Yaeka Kitamori. The announcement comes as the series continues to reveal its key voice talent ahead of its anticipated April 2026 premiere.
Tomita to Voice Yaeka Kitamori
Miyu Tomita, known for her roles as Riko in Made in Abyss, Miko Iino in Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, and Chuatury “Chuchu” Panlunch in Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, will lend her voice to Yaeka Kitamori. While specific details about Yaeka’s role in the overarching plot are still emerging, she is identified as a second-year university student and a good friend of Akane. Yaeka is also fond of the outdoors and later obtains a motorcycle license, hinting at an active and adventurous personality within the series.
Expanding the Cast for the Yuri Comedy
The casting of Miyu Tomita further enriches the ensemble for “Kamiina Botan, Yoheru Sugata wa Yuri no Hana,” a yuri comedy that centers on the blossoming friendship between university student Botan Kamiina and her dorm leader, Ibuki Tonami, often over drinks.
Previously announced cast members include Sayumi Suzushiro as the titular Botan Kamiina, a 20-year-old college freshman who discovers the joys of drinking after meeting Ibuki. Yoshino Aoyama is cast as Ibuki Tonami, a third-year student and dorm supervisor who enjoys alcohol but prefers not to drink in public, forming a quick bond with Botan. Other cast members include Minako Kotobuki as Kanade Gujou and Yurina Amami as Akane Yusa.
