Fans of the globally popular “Naruto” franchise will soon be able to immerse themselves in the world of the Hidden Leaf Village with the grand opening of “Naruto – Konoha Land” in France in 2026. This dedicated expansion will be located within the Parc Spirou Provence in Monteux, southern France, offering a comprehensive experience for ninjas of all ages.
The announcement, with additional details revealed by the official Naruto series website in December 2024, has generated significant excitement, promising a faithful recreation of iconic locations and thrilling attractions from Masashi Kishimoto’s beloved manga and anime series.
Journey to the Hidden Leaf: What to Expect at Konoha Land
Spanning an impressive 1.5 hectares (approximately 3.7 acres or 15,000 square meters), “Naruto – Konoha Land” is designed to transport visitors directly into Naruto Uzumaki’s world. Developed in collaboration with key stakeholders including Mediatoon, Shueisha, Studio Pierrot, and TV Tokyo, the park aims for an authentic and immersive experience.
Thrilling Rides and Attractions
The theme park will feature several key attractions, including high-octane rides inspired by the series’ most memorable moments:
- Kyubi Unchained Rollercoaster: This headline attraction boasts a track length of over one kilometer, reaches speeds of 75 km/h, and includes a 30-meter drop and even a backward run, simulating the heroic battle against the Nine-Tails.
- Rasengan Chakra Rotation: This ride will feature four revolving arms supporting 32 gondolas, allowing visitors to experience the intensity of chakra training.
Iconic Recreations and Photo Opportunities
Beyond the rides, “Naruto – Konoha Land” will bring to life several iconic locations from the Hidden Leaf Village:
- Konoha Gate: Guests will enter through a meticulously recreated Konoha Gate, just like the one seen in the anime.
- Chunin Exam Grounds: An obstacle course designed for aspiring ninjas, mirroring the challenging Chunin Exam.
- Hokage Monument and Office: Replicas of the revered Hokage Rock and the Hokage’s Office will be present, offering prime photo opportunities.
- Team Kakashi’s Training Area: Fans can visit the nostalgic training grounds where Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura honed their skills.

Culinary Delights from Konoha
No visit to Konoha would be complete without experiencing its culinary offerings. The theme park will feature:
- Ichiraku Ramen: A recreation of Naruto’s favorite ramen shop, offering themed menus.
- Dango Shop: A traditional dango shop will also be available for sweet treats.
France’s Enduring Love for Naruto
The choice of France for this significant “Naruto” expansion is no coincidence. France has long held one of the largest and most passionate manga and anime markets outside of Japan. The “Naruto” anime series debuted in France in 2002, and French consumers have purchased over 30 million copies of the manga to date. This deep cultural impact makes France an ideal location for such an immersive experience.
Construction on the new “Naruto – Konoha Land” area is already underway within Parc Spirou Provence, which itself opened in 2018 and has attracted over 1.5 million visitors. The park’s general director, Herve Lux, expressed immense joy and honor in bringing the “Naruto” universe to life, highlighting the four years of collaborative work with Japanese partners to ensure the most immersive experience possible. While the exact opening date in 2026 has not yet been specified, the anticipation for this first-of-its-kind “Naruto” theme park in Europe continues to build.
