The highly anticipated English dub of the anime series “New Saga” is officially set to premiere on Crunchyroll on Wednesday, July 16. Crunchyroll has also revealed the primary cast and crew responsible for bringing the series to English-speaking audiences.
The English dub of “New Saga” Episode 1 will feature Kyle Igneczi as Kyle, Jaclyn Thomas as Urza, Rebecca Danae as Liese, Sarah Wiedenheft as Sildonia, Kara Edwards as Ceraia, Kyle Phillips as Theron, and Erin Nicole Lundquist as Layla. Additional voices for the episode include Morgan Lauré, William Ofoegbu, Brad Kurtz, Joe Cucinotti, and Greg Silva.
Behind the scenes, Jeremy Inman is directing the English dub, with Samantha Herek serving as producer. The adaptation is handled by Jessica Sluys, while Andrew Tipps is the mixer and Jamal Roberson is the engineer.
“New Saga” follows the story of magic swordsman Kyle, who, after defeating the Demon King in a brutal war, is sent four years into the past by a crimson crystal. He finds his hometown intact and his loved ones alive, prompting him to use his future knowledge to prevent past tragedies and alter destiny. The anime is directed by Naoki Mizusawa at Sotsu and Studio Clutch. Kenta Ihara is responsible for series composition, with character designs by Dan Asahi and music by Shacho and Hironori Anazawa.
