The upcoming “Harmony of Mille-Feuille” anime has announced the addition of Iori Saeki, Mayumi Shintani, and Kaori Nazuka to its voice cast. These new cast members have not previously participated in the project’s audio drama releases.
“Harmony of Mille-Feuille” (Utagoe wa Mirufīyu), a Japanese music-themed mixed-media project, centers on a cappella, high school girls, and complex emotional themes. The project was initiated in April 2022 by Pony Canyon and Takuya Yamanaka.
The anime adaptation is set to premiere on July 17, 2025, on Tokyo MX and BS Fuji in Japan. Aniplus Asia has licensed the series for broadcast in Southeast Asia. Jumondou is producing the television series, with Kiyoto Nakajima directing and Takuya Satō serving as chief director. Takuya Yamanaka is responsible for writing the series scripts, while Chisato Kikunaga and Hitomi Kaiho are handling character designs. Shun Narita is composing the music, and Pony Canyon is producing the music for the anime. The theme song, “Omoidebanashi” (Nostalgic Talk), is performed by the main cast.
The story follows Uta Komaki, a first-year high school student who, despite her timid nature and many weaknesses, loves to sing. Her attempt to join the light music club for a typical high school experience fails. In her despair, she discovers a cappella music and finds a group of girls whose imperfect youths are interwoven through their harmonized voices.

The project also includes new cast members for the “Parabola” group: Asaka as Zoe Delaunay, KIYOZO as Karin Minami, Moeka Koizumi as Mizuki Fujishiro, Nao Toyama as Kikka Sengoku, and Yoshino Aoyama as Reira Tamaki.
