The official YouTube channel for Emotion Label began streaming the first seven minutes of Mizuiro no Sasha (The Aqua Sasha), the fourth film in the Yamato yo Towa ni: Rebel 3199 (Be Forever Yamato: Rebel 3199) series, on Friday, October 3, 2025. The highly anticipated film is set to open in Japanese theaters on October 10, 2025.
This special preview offers fans an early look into the next chapter of the Space Battleship Yamato remakes, building anticipation for its full theatrical release. The fourth film’s Blu-ray Disc and DVD are scheduled to ship in Japan on December 24, 2025.
The Be Forever Yamato: Rebel 3199 Series Continues
Be Forever Yamato: Rebel 3199 is the latest installment in the beloved Space Battleship Yamato franchise, serving as a sequel to Star Blazers 2205 and a remake that incorporates elements from both the original Be Forever Yamato film and the Space Battleship Yamato III television series. The project is planned as a seven-film series, which will also be adapted into a 26-episode television series.

Studio Mother is responsible for the animation of Rebel 3199, with Harutoshi Fukui serving as general director, series composition, and screenplay writer. Crunchyroll holds the licensing rights for the series and is streaming it under the title Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato 3199.
The narrative of Rebel 3199 is set in 2207 A.D., two years after the disappearance of Gamilas and Iscandar. The story kicks off with the sudden appearance of a colossal, mysterious object called “Grand Reverse” in the solar system, which swiftly breaches Earth’s defenses and invades the new capital city. Faced with an overwhelming invasion, the crew of the old Yamato fleet receives a top-secret directive to “Rally to Yamato!” The plot promises to delve into uncharted territories of time and space, with the fate of humanity hanging in the balance.
