Anime Production and Plot Overview
Tezuka Productions is animating the project, with CyberAgent listed as a producer.
The romantic comedy manga by Shinya Misu, which began serialization on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket website in March 2022, centers on high schooler Eiyū. Eiyū faces a dilemma as his two childhood friends, Shio and Akari, have grown “almost too cute”. He finds himself looking at them with romantic interest, even though he believes they don’t share the same feelings, leading to considerable worry on his part. Unknown to Eiyū, both Shio and Akari harbor their own secrets, setting the stage for a complicated and humorous love triangle.
Kodansha continues to publish the manga, with its 18th compiled book volume set for release on November 7. The series has gained a dedicated following, setting high expectations for the anime adaptation.
