Bandai Namco Filmworks has begun streaming the first seven minutes of the fourth film in the six-part Princess Principal: Crown Handler series. The film opened in Japan on Friday, May 23, 2025.

Princess Principal: Crown Handler is a series of six anime films that serve as a sequel to the Princess Principal TV series, which aired for 12 episodes from July to September 2016. The film project was announced in April 2018, with the first chapter released in Japan on February 11, 2021.

Sentai Filmworks has secured the distribution rights to Princess Principal: Crown Handler outside of Japan. The original Princess Principal anime series is currently available for streaming on HIDIVE and can be purchased on Blu-ray. As of May 26, 2021, the first installment of the Crown Handler movie series was released on HIDIVE.
Storyline
Following an attempted assassination of the Queen, the Kingdom is rife with manhunts for spies. Control, the Commonwealth’s covert operations group, suspects a double agent within the Kingdom’s royal family. Ange and the rest of “Team White Pigeon” are dispatched to uncover the truth.
