The official website for the original anime series Princession Orchestra has released its fourth promotional video, revealing that popular voice actresses Akari Kito and Miku Itō will be joining the cast as new characters. The latest video also features the new opening theme song, “Future Session.”
New Voices Join the Magical Battle
Akari Kito is set to voice the character Cynthia, described as a mysterious white Flower Knight, while Miku Itō will portray Purity, another Flower Knight. Their addition comes as the magical girl series enters its second half, promising heightened excitement and new challenges for the “Princesses” who defend the mystical world of Alicepia.
Kito is widely recognized for her roles as Nezuko Kamado in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and Tsukasa Yuzaki in Fly Me to the Moon (also known as Tonikawa: Over the Moon for You). Itō’s notable roles include Miku Nakano in The Quintessential Quintuplets and Kokoro Tsurumaki in BanG Dream!
“Future Session” Ignites the Second Half
The fourth promotional video, released on Sunday, not only introduces the new cast members but also showcases the new opening theme song, “Future Session.” This new track will set the tone as the story delves deeper into the destinies of the Princesses and the escalating threats they face, including formidable new foes like the White Queen. The PV also offers glimpses of intense battles and the strong bonds forged between the characters, recapping iconic scenes of the Princesses singing and fighting.
The anime’s music is composed by Elements Garden, known for their work on various musical anime.
Princession Orchestra: A Musical Magical Girl Saga
Princession Orchestra is an original anime television series created by Aria Entertainment and King Records, with animation produced by Silver Link. The series concept was originally conceived by Akifumi Kaneko and Noriyasu Agematsu, the creative minds behind Senki Zesshō Symphogear. Shin Oonuma directs the series, with Manta Aisora serving as the main writer and series composer.
The story is set in Alicepia, a mysterious country where music and idols play a central role. Its inhabitants, the Alicepians, are fun-loving, but their peace is threatened by monstrous entities known as Jamaock. The narrative follows “princesses” who utilize the power of song to bravely fight these monsters and protect their friends and the world. The series emphasizes themes of transformation, girl power, and musical battles, combining sci-fi elements with dazzling performances.
The anime premiered on TV Tokyo and other TXN stations on April 6, 2025, and is scheduled to run for four consecutive cours, indicating a year-long broadcast.
