The highly anticipated anime adaptation of Riku Nanano and cura’s light novel series, “Private Tutor to the Duke’s Daughter” (Kōjo Denka no Kateikyōshi), has unveiled six additional cast members, further enriching its roster of voice talent ahead of its July debut. The new additions include a blend of established and rising stars, taking on pivotal roles in the aristocratic fantasy.
The newly announced cast members and their respective roles are:
- Yūya Uchida as The Professor
- Hana Satō as Anko-san
- Junichi Suwabe as Walter Howard
- Hiroshi Naka as Graham Walker
- Sayuri Sadaoka as Sherry Walker
- Tomohiro Ōno as Gil Algren
These actors join a previously announced main cast that includes Yūto Uemura as Allen, Hime Sawada as Tina Howard, Kyōka Moriya as Ellie Walker, Ikumi Hasegawa as Lydia Leinster, Inori Minase as Stella Howard, Ami Maeshima as Caren, Miho Okasaki as Lynne Leinster, and Kana Hanazawa as Felicia Fosse.
The anime is directed by Nobuyoshi Nagayama at Studio Blanc, with Kazuya Ishiguri serving as assistant director. Megumi Shimizu is overseeing the series scripts, and Akiko Toyoda is handling character designs. Ami Maeshima will perform the opening theme song “Wish for you,” while Miho Okasaki will perform the ending theme “Shōjo no Susume” (A Girl’s Advice).
The series is set to begin early streaming on services like ABEMA and d Anime Store on June 28, with its television debut on Tokyo MX and BS11 scheduled for July 5. Crunchyroll will stream the series, making it accessible to a wider international audience starting July 5.
“Private Tutor to the Duke’s Daughter” follows the story of Allen, a young sorcerer who, after failing his dream job exam, takes on a surprising role as a private tutor to Tina Howard, the daughter of a powerful duke. Tina, despite her academic brilliance, cannot cast spells, and Allen’s unique magical approach is her last hope before the Royal Academy entrance exams. J-Novel Club is releasing the original light novel series in English.
