The television anime adaptation of Riku Nanano’s Private Tutor to the Duke’s Daughter (also known as Kōjo Denka no Kateikyōshi) light novel series has unveiled six additional cast members. The newly announced voice actors and their respective roles are Yūya Uchida as The Professor, Hana Satō as Anko-san, Junichi Suwabe as Walter Howard, Hiroshi Naka as Graham Walker, Sayuri Sadaoka as Sherry Walker, and Tomohiro Ōno as Gil Algren.
These additions expand the ensemble for the series, which is set to begin streaming on ABEMA and d Anime Store on June 28, and will debut on television in Japan on Tokyo MX and BS11 on July 5, 2025. Crunchyroll is also slated to stream the series starting July 5.
The previously announced main cast includes Yūto Uemura as Allen, Hime Sawada as Tina Howard, Kyōka Moriya as Ellie Walker, Ikumi Hasegawa as Lydia Leinster, Inori Minase as Stella Howard, Ami Maeshima as Caren, Miho Okasaki as Lynne Leinster, and Kana Hanazawa as Felicia Fosse. Ami Maeshima will perform the opening theme song “Wish for you,” while Miho Okasaki will handle the ending theme “Shōjo no Susume” (A Girl’s Advice).
Nobuyoshi Nagayama is directing the anime at Studio Blanc, with Kazuya Ishiguri serving as assistant director. Megumi Shimizu is overseeing the series scripts, and Akiko Toyoda is responsible for character designs. Kei Haneoka is composing the music for the series.
The anime is based on the light novel series, which began in 2017 and is published in English by J-Novel Club. The story follows Allen, a young sorcerer who, after failing a crucial exam, takes on a modest job as a private tutor to Tina, the daughter of Duke Howard. Despite her academic brilliance, Tina struggles with magic, a mystery Allen endeavors to solve before her Royal Academy entrance exams.
