The highly anticipated second season of the anime series Puniru is a Kawaii Slime (Puniru wa Kawaii Slime) has revealed several new cast members joining its roster, bringing fresh voices to the beloved romantic comedy. Leading the new additions is Sumire Uesaka, who will voice the mysterious character Gelee. The new season is slated to premiere on July 6, 2025.

Sumire Uesaka Joins as Gelee
Sumire Uesaka steps into the role of Gelee, described as a beautiful and enigmatic girl who refers to herself as “the perfect AI.” Her addition is a prominent highlight among the new cast revelations for Puniru is a Kawaii Slime Season 2, suggesting a significant new character for the unfolding narrative. Michiko Yokote is once again overseeing the series scripts, with Aya Tanaka handling character designs and Izumi Mori composing the music. The anime adapts Maedakun’s romantic comedy web manga, which began serialization in March 2022.
