Remow, a global Japanese entertainment content distributor and a company founded by Japanese publisher Shueisha, has launched “It’s Anime,” a new 24/7 free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channel, on Samsung TV Plus in the United States and Canada. The channel officially went live on or around July 2-3, 2025. This marks a significant step in Remow’s mission to make authentic and premium Japanese anime accessible to global audiences without a subscription.
A New Era for Anime Accessibility
The launch of “It’s Anime” arrives as the popularity of anime continues to surge globally, particularly in North America. Remow aims to cater to the growing demand for free, timely access to a wide array of anime content. Akira Ishii, CEO of Remow, stated that the channel was developed to meet the expectations of passionate and engaged anime fans who desire timely access to the latest series without barriers. He also expressed hope that the channel would expand the overall fanbase of anime.
Content Lineup and Availability
“It’s Anime” offers a diverse lineup that includes both first-run anime shows and classic titles. Viewers can anticipate a mix of modern hits and beloved classics.
Some of the titles available at launch or slated for release in the coming months include:
- Your Forma
- My Deer Friend Nokotan
- Reborn!

The channel is accessible on Samsung TV Plus through compatible Samsung smart TVs, smart monitors, and Galaxy mobile devices.
Future Expansion and Remow’s Strategy
The launch of “It’s Anime” on Samsung TV Plus is part of Remow’s broader strategy to expand its global streaming footprint. The Tokyo-based entertainment company, which received investment from Skybound Entertainment in late 2023, has already established a dedicated anime FAST channel in 18 Latin American countries. Additionally, Remow successfully launched its “24/7 SAMURAI-SHINOBI” FAST channel on Prime Video.
Remow plans to roll out “It’s Anime” on additional platforms and in new territories throughout 2025 and 2026, further solidifying its position in the free ad-supported streaming market. This move underscores the growing trend of media companies leveraging FAST channels to reach broader audiences seeking diverse and accessible content.
