Remow, a global Japanese entertainment content distributor, has officially launched its new 24/7 free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channel, “It’s Anime,” on Samsung TV Plus in the United States and Canada. The channel, which went live on July 2, 2025, aims to provide timely access to a diverse range of anime content for fans without the need for a subscription.
A New Frontier for Anime Accessibility
The launch of “It’s Anime” marks a significant step in Remow’s mission to make culturally authentic and premium Japanese anime more accessible to a global audience. Akira Ishii, CEO of Remow, emphasized that the channel was developed to meet the expectations of today’s passionate and engaged anime fans who desire barrier-free access to the latest series. He expressed hope that the channel will not only serve existing fans but also expand the overall anime fanbase.
Diverse Content Lineup
“It’s Anime” offers a robust selection of programming, blending fresh premieres with beloved classics. Among the first-run and fan-favorite titles available at launch are “Your Forma,” “My Deer Friend Nokotan,” “Reborn!,” and “Umamusume: Cinderella Gray.” Viewers can also anticipate future additions to the lineup, including “Tougen Anki,” “Haigakura,” “Gag Manga Biyori GO,” “Tonbo!,” “Tasokare Hotel,” and the popular sports anime “Kuroko’s Basketball.” The channel is designed to deliver both the latest hyped series and vintage classics directly from Japan.
Remow’s Expanding Global Footprint
Founded by Japanese publisher Shueisha, Remow has been actively expanding its presence in the global streaming landscape. The company has already successfully launched a dedicated anime FAST channel in 18 Latin American countries. Furthermore, “It’s Anime” builds on the success of Remow’s “24/7 SAMURAI-SHINOBI” FAST channel, which is available on Amazon’s Prime Video. In just over two years, Remow has grown its streaming footprint to over 140 countries and more than 40 streaming platforms, also achieving nearly 100 million views on YouTube in under a year.
Availability and Future Plans
Initially, the “It’s Anime” channel is exclusively available on Samsung devices, including Samsung TVs and phones, via the Samsung TV Plus service in the U.S. and Canada. Remow has ambitious plans for further expansion, with additional platforms and territories expected to roll out throughout 2025 and 2026. This strategic move positions “It’s Anime” to capitalize on the growing demand for anime in Western markets, offering a valuable resource for both new and long-time fans seeking high-quality, free anime content.
