Remow, the global anime distributor founded by Japanese publisher Shueisha, has launched “It’s Anime,” a new 24/7 free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channel, on Samsung TV Plus in the United States and Canada. The channel’s debut, coinciding with the recent Anime Expo in Los Angeles, marks a significant step in Remow’s mission to broaden the global accessibility of authentic and premium Japanese anime content without requiring a subscription.
A New Era for Anime Accessibility
The launch of “It’s Anime” directly addresses the surging demand for anime in North America, offering a diverse lineup that caters to both long-time enthusiasts and newcomers to the genre. Akira Ishii, CEO of Remow, emphasized that the channel was developed to meet the expectations of today’s anime audience, providing timely access to the latest series without traditional subscription barriers. This initiative aims not only to serve existing passionate fans but also to expand the overall anime fanbase.
Samsung TV Plus, a free streaming service, provides “It’s Anime” to users with compatible Samsung devices, including TVs, smart monitors, and Galaxy devices. This integration makes it easier for viewers to discover and enjoy a wide array of anime content at no additional cost.
Diverse Content Lineup
“It’s Anime” promises a compelling mix of modern hits and beloved classics, delivered directly from Japan. The initial programming slate and titles expected to air in the coming months include:
- Your Forma
- My Deer Friend Nokotan
- Reborn!
- Umamusume: Cinderella Gray
- Tougen Anki
- Haigakura
- Gag Manga Biyori GO
- Tonbo!
- Tasokare Hotel
- Kuroko’s Basketball
Notably, Remow has also launched an English dub for Your Forma on the channel, further enhancing accessibility for North American viewers. Many of these titles are exclusively available on “It’s Anime” within the FAST ecosystem, providing content that fans may not find elsewhere.
Remow’s Expanding Global Footprint
Based in Tokyo, Remow has been actively working to bring Japanese content to a worldwide audience. The launch of “It’s Anime” builds upon Remow’s prior successes, which include the establishment of a dedicated anime FAST channel in 18 Latin American countries and the “24/7 SAMURAI-SHINOBI” FAST channel on Prime Video. The company has rapidly expanded its reach, operating in over 140 countries and across more than 40 streaming platforms within just over two years. Remow also maintains a strong presence on YouTube, where its similarly named “It’s Anime” channel has garnered nearly 100 million views.
Looking ahead, Remow has plans to further extend the reach of “It’s Anime,” with rollouts on additional platforms and in new territories anticipated throughout 2025 and 2026. This ongoing expansion underscores Remow’s commitment to making Japanese anime a staple for global audiences.
