JCC Transfer Exams Arc Kicks Off in Episode 17
Fans can look forward to the “JCC Transfer Exams Arc” commencing with the anime’s 17th episode, scheduled to air on August 18. This arc sees legendary ex-hitman Taro Sakamoto and his clairvoyant associate Shin Asakura embark on a new mission: infiltrating the Japan Assassins’ Club (JCC) to uncover crucial information about the enigmatic X, also known as Kei Uzuki, a former classmate of Sakamoto’s. The JCC, a prestigious academy for aspiring assassins, presents a rigorous transfer exam that Sakamoto and Shin will undertake as students to achieve their objective.
New Voices Join the Cast for the Arc
Three new voice actors have been announced to bring key characters in the JCC Transfer Exams Arc to life:
- Hisako Kanemoto as Nao Toramaru.
- Tomoaki Maeno as Joichiro Kaji.
- Tatsumaru Tachibana as Shinaya.
These additions will introduce fresh dynamics and challenges as Sakamoto and Shin navigate the demanding JCC environment.

The first part of the Sakamoto Days anime, which adapted the early chapters of Yuto Suzuki’s action-comedy manga, aired from January to March 2025 for 11 episodes. Directed by Masaki Watanabe at studio TMS Entertainment, with series composition by Taku Kishimoto, the anime follows Taro Sakamoto, a former top hitman who retired to live a peaceful life as a convenience store owner with his family, only to find his past relentlessly catching up to him.
