Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ digital manga platform is set to unveil a trio of new manga series throughout December, featuring works from established creators Daijiro Nonoue, Takuya Nishio, and Masahiro Hirakata. These upcoming serializations promise fresh narratives for readers of the popular online platform.
Dive into December’s New Manga Lineup
The new series will roll out across the month, bringing diverse stories from authors known for their previous contributions to the manga landscape.
Daijiro Nonoue’s “Hatori to Furuta no Hi Nichijochahanji”
Kicking off the new releases, Daijiro Nonoue, known for their work on The Last Saiyuki, will launch “Hatori to Furuta no Hi Nichijochahanji” on December 13. Nonoue’s The Last Saiyuki was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump and concluded in 2019, following a boy whose younger sister possessed superhuman abilities. Nonoue also previously serialized Mutō Black in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2013 and published short manga on the Shonen Jump+ app.
Takuya Nishio’s “Dot Alice”
Following shortly after, Takuya Nishio will debut “Dot Alice” on December 16. Nishio previously authored “At Summer’s End” (Natsu no Shūten), which was published on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ website and concluded with its second volume in July 2024.
Masahiro Hirakata’s “Shiyunrai Table Tennis”
Closing out the month’s new additions is Masahiro Hirakata’s “Shiyunrai Table Tennis,” scheduled for release on December 26. Hirakata is recognized for “Debby the Corsifa is Emulous” and has also contributed to Shonen Jump+ with “Machi Koro Match! +” and various one-shots.
These upcoming manga are part of Shonen Jump+’s continuous effort to expand its diverse catalog, offering new content from both returning and emerging talent.
