This sneak peek provides an introduction to the world and characters, setting the stage for the series adapted from Matsuri Isora and Nanna Fujimi’s light novel series, also known as “Secrets of the Silent Witch”. The preview reportedly features Monica and Annie, with a surprise appearance from Louis.
The anime follows Monica Everett, renowned as the “Silent Witch” and the only practitioner of Voiceless Magic in the world. Despite her heroic feat of single-handedly defeating the legendary Black Dragon, Monica is, in fact, incredibly shy and learned silent magic specifically to avoid public speaking. Her new mission involves secretly guarding the Second Prince, Felix Arc Ridill, who attends a prestigious boarding school.
New Voice Revealed: Ai Kayano Joins the Cast
The cast of “Silent Witch” expands with the announcement that Ai Kayano will lend her voice to the character Claudia. Claudia is described as a “walking library”. This addition joins a previously announced ensemble that includes Saya Aizawa as the protagonist Monica Everett, Hitomi Nabatame as Nero, Junichi Suwabe as Louis Miller, Atsumi Tanezaki as Isabelle Norton, Shōgo Sakata as Felix Arc Ridill, Kanna Nakamura as Lana Colette, and Yoshiki Nakajima as Cyril Ashley.
Opening Theme Song Details
The anime’s opening theme song has been confirmed as “Feel,” performed by the alternative rock band hitsujibungaku. The song is scheduled to be available for streaming in Japan starting July 4, 2025, aligning with the anime’s television premiere. hitsujibungaku will also perform the ending theme song titled “mild days.”
The “Silent Witch” anime is directed by Yasuo Iwamoto, with Takaomi Kanasaki serving as chief director, screenwriter, and script supervisor. Studio Gokumi is handling the animation production.
