Renowned manga artist Suu Minazuki is set to launch a new series titled Saigo no Negai ni Tsuki ga Naku (The Moon Cries at My Last Wish) on August 26. The new manga will debut in the September issue of Kadokawa’s Shōnen Ace magazine.
A Story of Humans vs. Vampires
Saigo no Negai ni Tsuki ga Naku is teased as a compelling “humans vs. vampires” narrative. The plot will center on two childhood friends, Niizuki and Asahi, who reside on a secluded small island.
The Catalyst: A Night Festival and an Undone Seal
The story takes a dark turn when Asahi, typically fearful of the night, ventures to a night summer festival in their village. There, Asahi inadvertently breaks the seal on a local shrine, unleashing a captivating yet angelic vampire girl who transforms the festive gathering into a horrifying massacre.
