The two special anime episodes slated for the Blu-ray are titled “Yomi to Shitto to Tanjōbi” (which translates to “Yomi, Jealousy, and Happy Birthday”) and “Iana to Sol Netsuppoi Ichinichi” (“A Bad Case of Butler Fever”). These episodes are based on short stories that were not part of the television series’ run, providing an extended narrative for dedicated viewers and collectors.

The television anime series, an adaptation of Akiharu Tōka’s popular manga The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess (Tensei Akujo no Kuro Rekishi), is set to premiere in Japan on October 8, 2025, at 24:00 JST (effectively October 9 at 12:00 a.m. JST) on TV Tokyo and BS11.
Produced by Studio DEEN and directed by Hiroaki Sakurai, the series features Mitsutaka Hirota overseeing the series composition, Tomoyo Sawada on character designs, and Ryūichi Takada composing the music. Crunchyroll will stream the series across various international territories, including North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS regions. Yen Press publishes the English-language version of the original manga.
