The highly anticipated TV anime adaptation of Kujira Tokiwa and Yuunagi’s popular light novel series, “The Holy Grail of Eris” (Eris no Seihai), is slated to debut on January 8, 2026. The official announcement also confirmed the artists behind the series’ opening and ending theme songs.
Reina Washio, known for her powerful vocals, will perform the opening theme song, “Happy Ever After,” featuring Yu-ka. Meanwhile, popular voice actress and singer Yukari Tamura is set to sing the ending theme, titled “Camellia.” The anime will premiere on TBS and 28 affiliate stations on January 8 at 11:56 p.m. JST.

“The Holy Grail of Eris” is a suspenseful fantasy that follows the intertwined fates of a modest young noblewoman and the ghost of a notorious villainess. The story centers on Constance Grail, a viscount’s daughter whose honesty is her most defining trait. Her life takes a dramatic turn when she is falsely accused of a crime and loses her fiancé.
In her despair, Constance is possessed by the spirit of Scarlet Castiel, a beautiful and charismatic duchess executed ten years prior for a crime she claims she didn’t commit. Scarlet, seeking vengeance and the truth behind her untimely death, makes a pact with Constance. Together, they navigate the treacherous aristocratic society, unraveling a vast conspiracy that stretches back to Scarlet’s execution.

Ashi Productions is handling the animation production for “The Holy Grail of Eris,” with Junpei Morita serving as the director. Kenichi Yamashita is responsible for the series composition and script, while Chie Kawaguchi is designing the characters based on Yuunagi’s original illustrations.
