The Story of an Invisible Man and His Blind Wife
The Invisible Man and His Soon-to-Be Wife is adapted from Iwatobineko’s manga, which began as a webcomic on X/Twitter in 2021 and was later serialized on pixiv Comic. Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the manga in English, describing the plot as a unique office romance.
The story centers on Shizuka Yakou, a quiet and bashful woman working at a detective agency, and her boss, Akira Tounome. Tounome is a kind and dapper gentleman with the unusual ability to turn completely invisible. While his invisibility is perfect for detective work, it has no effect on Shizuka, who is blind and can always sense his presence. Charmed by this unique connection, Tounome becomes determined to win her affection, using his various skills to pursue a relationship. Their quirky coworkers, including a contrarian human man and a sisterly beastwoman, watch over their budding office romance.
The anime was initially slated for a 2025 debut but was later delayed to 2026.
