Series Background and Plot
The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior is based on the popular light novel series written by Tenichi and illustrated by Suzunosuke. The story centers on Pride Royal Ivy, who, upon realizing she’s been reincarnated into an otome game as the future tyrannical queen and ultimate antagonist, decides to drastically alter her destiny. Armed with knowledge from the game, formidable powers, and her status as crown princess, she strives to become a benevolent ruler and protect the game’s male love interests, thereby saving her kingdom from ruin.
The original light novels began serialization on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in April 2018, with print versions published by Ichijinsha. An earlier manga adaptation ran from March 2020 to March 2022, and a new manga adaptation by Akiko Kawano began in June 2023.
