The fantasy-harem manga series, “The Ragnarok System of the Desperate Reincarnated Demon Lord and the Seven Aggressive Maidens” (Kojirase Tensei Maō to 7-nin no Oshikake Otome no Ragnarok System), is set to conclude its serialization on October 18. The final chapter will be published in the November issue of Akita Shoten’s Monthly Champion RED magazine.
Fans have followed the adventures of Rintarou, a former hero reincarnated as a socially awkward university student, as he navigates his powerful abilities and an unexpected influx of aggressive maidens.
Manga’s Serialization and Creators
The series, penned by Kenji Saitō with art by GUNP, first launched in Monthly Champion RED in 2022. Akita Shoten began publishing the compiled tankōbon volumes in April 2023, with the fourth volume released on February 19. The manga is known in Japan under its full title, “Kojirase Tensei Maō to 7-nin no Oshikake Otome no Ragnarok System”.
English Release by Yen Press
For English-speaking audiences, Yen Press licensed the manga and released the first compiled book volume on June 17, 2025. Yen Press describes the story as a blend of “love, war…and reincarnation!!” The plot centers on Rintarou, a hero who once saved Japan from demonic monsters, now grappling with his immense powers and the challenge of finding a girlfriend, only to be approached by a princess proposing various relationship statuses. Sheldon Drzka is credited with the English translation, while Ivo Marques handles the lettering for the Yen Press release.
Author’s Previous Works
Kenji Saitō, the story writer for “The Ragnarok System,” has a notable history in the manga industry. He previously worked on “Samayoeru Tensei-sha-tachi no Revival Game” (The Revival Game of the Wondering Reincarnated Ones) with Haruto Hino, which ran in Kadokawa’s Dragon Age magazine from April 2019 to July 2021. Saitō also concluded the “Goodbye! I’m Being Reincarnated!” (Goodbye! Isekai Tensei) manga in December 2019, which he launched with Parabora in Kodansha’s now-defunct Shōnen Magazine R in December 2017.
