Crunchyroll has officially unveiled the English dub cast for The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 4, with many familiar voices reprising their roles and new talents joining the acclaimed fantasy series. The new season premiered on July 9, 2025, with a same-day English dub release.
Stephen Fu returns as the voice of the titular Shield Hero, Naofumi Iwatani. He takes over the role from Billy Kametz, who previously voiced Naofumi and won a Crunchyroll Anime Award for his performance before his passing in 2022. Erica Mendez is back as Raphtalia, and Brianna Knickerbocker reprises her role as Filo, completing the core trio.

The English dub production team for The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 4 includes Courtney Sanford as the voice director, Eric P. Sherman as the producer, and Henry Mason handling the writing and adaptation. Kenneth Thompson serves as the mixer, and Krystal Holmes is the engineer.
The animation for The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 4 is handled by Kinema Citrus, with Hitoshi Haga returning to direct alongside assistant director Takanori Yamamoto. Keigo Koyanagi is overseeing the series scripts, while Franziska van Wulfen, Sana Komatsu, and Masahiro Suwa are the character designers.
