The anime adaptation of Norishiro-chan and Yukiji Setsuda’s manga series, “The Shy Hero and the Assassin Princesses” (Kizetsu Yuusha to Ansatsu Hime), has released its main promotional video, highlighting the opening theme song. The series is scheduled to premiere on July 5th and will be streamed on Crunchyroll worldwide as part of their Summer 2025 lineup.

Story Overview
“The Shy Hero and the Assassin Princesses” follows the story of Toto, a hero with exceptional skills but held back by his extreme shyness, which prevents him from forming a party. His life takes an unexpected turn when he is invited to join a party by three beautiful women: Ciel, Anemone, and Gore. Overjoyed at finally embarking on an adventure, Toto is unaware that these women harbor a secret desire to assassinate him. The series unfolds as a deadly harem rom-com, where the socially anxious hero must navigate the treacherous intentions of his companions.

The anime is being animated by Studio CONNECT, with Noriaki Akitaya serving as the director. The main voice cast includes:
