Light Novel and Manga Origins
The anime is based on the light novel series, “The Unaware Atelier Master” (Kanchigai no Atelier Meister), written by Yosuke Tokino and illustrated by Zounoze. The light novels have been published by AlphaPolis since March 2019, with ten volumes currently available.
A manga adaptation, illustrated by Naharu Furukawa, has also been serialized online via AlphaPolis’ manga website since December 2019. Alpha Manga publishes the English language version of the manga digitally.
