Fans of the critically acclaimed anime series To Your Eternity can rejoice as the highly anticipated third season has officially premiered, launching Fushi into an entirely new era: the “Present World” arc. The new season began airing in Japan on October 4, 2025, at 23:45 JST, and is available for international streaming on Crunchyroll.
This season marks a significant shift in setting and narrative, propelling the immortal protagonist Fushi into a modern society, centuries after the events of the previous arcs.
What to Expect in To Your Eternity Season 3
The “Present World” arc, also referred to as the “Modern Day Arc” or “New World” arc, sees Fushi awaken in a world vastly different from any he has known before. With cities, advanced technology, and a seemingly peaceful existence free from the immediate threat of Nokkers, Fushi must navigate the complexities of contemporary life.
The Story So Far and the New Arc’s Focus
To Your Eternity follows Fushi, an immortal being capable of taking on the forms of those he encounters, learning and evolving through countless experiences and losses. Previous seasons explored Fushi’s journey from an orb to a wolf, then to a boy, and his continuous struggle against the destructive Nokkers.
In Season 3, the narrative delves into Fushi’s adaptation to a world filled with cars, wires, and neon lights. He will encounter new individuals, including Mizuha, a junior high school girl who plays a significant role in the new season’s story. Mizuha is also revealed to be the 18th reincarnation of Hayase, Fushi’s obsessive foe from past eras, which promises to add layers of complexity and emotional depth to the plot. Fushi will also confront the true goals of his creator, The Beholder, and will face a crucial decision.
Returning and New Characters
Many beloved characters from previous seasons are expected to return, albeit in new forms or as reborn spirits. These include March, Gugu, Tonari, and Bonchien, whose reunions with Fushi are anticipated to bring both joy and existential questions.
The voice cast sees the return of Reiji Kawashima as Fushi and Kenjirō Tsuda as The Observer. Tomori Kusunoki, who voiced Hisame in Season 2, now voices Mizuha, while Megumi Han, who voiced Torta, returns as Yūki Aoki. New cast member Yumiri Hanamori joins as a mysterious boy named Satoru.
